The build envelopes are effectively the same class
Six millimeters per axis is not a meaningful reason by itself to choose one machine. If your largest real part fits within 250 mm, both are in the same practical size class. If a model sits near the limit, check the exact slicer orientation rather than relying on nominal volume alone.
Kobra S1 Combo wins when the feeder workflow is the purchase
The ACE Pro is the main reason to choose the Combo: Anycubic combines automatic material switching with active drying. That matters for buyers who regularly print multi-color jobs and want fewer separate filament-management steps.
Centauri Carbon wins when abrasive materials are the priority
ELEGOO explicitly equips the Centauri Carbon with a hardened nozzle and positions it for carbon-fiber-reinforced filaments. That is a more direct engineering-material proposition than simply comparing the shared 320 °C temperature ceiling.
Do not confuse printer support with feeder support
Anycubic lists TPU among printer-compatible materials but notes TPU 95A is not compatible with ACE Pro. This is a useful system-level warning: a printer can handle a filament that its automatic feeder should not.
